At HaleyTek you will be in the forefront working with cutting-edge technology and interacting with other global industry leaders. We’re currently developing a completely new Infotainment solution based on Android Automotive OS with QNX hypervisor as the foundation.

Infotainment systems are one of the fastest growing areas within Automotive today. Multi-Screen, Advanced Audio processing, Machine learning and hypervisors are some of the new technologies that define the modern infotainment system.

As an Android Software Developer, you love to be responsible for implementing a complete feature, from HMI to business logic to low-level hardware drivers. You will use the latest tools and technologies available and collaborate with partners and other teams to deliver state-of-the-art software. You will also test the features by implementing automatic test cases that run in the CI environment. You have good knowledge in Java, Kotlin and Python, and don’t mind learning new languages. You are known as a team player with an open mindset.

Main responsibilities:

• Software development in the full vertical Android stack, with focus on the Radio infotainment system (FM/DAB/SiriusXM and HD Radio).
• Development using Java, Kotlin, Python and the Android tool set.
• End-to-end responsibility, including design, architecture, documentation, implementation and automated test cases.

Required qualifications / skills:

• M.Sc. in Software Engineering or similar relevant experience.
• At least 3 years of software development in Kotlin.
• Experience in Android stack software development
• Experience in developing automated unit or integration test in C++, Kotlin, Java or Pyton
• Experience in working with Git/Gerrit/Jenkins tools.
• Extensive experience from working in a Linux environment.
• Good English skills (written and spoken)
